The Proposal

I earned my Private Pilot Licence on July 25, 2007, and planned to take Tasha up as my first passenger the following weekend. Several months prior, I'd decided that this gave me a unique opportunity for a memorable proposal. Tasha had never taken me up on my offer to ride along on one of my training flights, so this was her first time at the airport with me in a General Aviation aircraft...and she'll remember it.

On July 29, 2007 I proposed in Warrior 2875 X-ray at 1,528 feet above the ground...the exact number of days we had been dating on that day. My friend Bill waited for us to arrive at the airport.
